Wednesday 17th August, with Rain, thunder & Lightening in the Forecast, the late afternoon rain was a welcome sight for some… However 14 Cyclists left via Skerne Rd, Aerospace estate, Ham, Ham gate, Richmond Park, Sheen gate, Mortlake, Chiswick Bridge, Chiswick green, Acton, Ealing, Pitshanger Park, Perivale, Grand union canal path to Greenford for lunch at the Black Horse (with own Sandwiches, as Pub Kitchen out of use), Greenford, Southall, Norwood green, Osterley Park, Hounslow, Whitton, -with darkening skies, a vote elected to forego the Tea stop, it didn’t matter much, because the Heavens opened very soon afterwards-, Twickenham, Strawberry hill, Teddington, Hampton wick, Kingston Bridge to finish back in Kingston. Total 28 Miles, Thanks to Dave P for back marking, apologies I forgot to take a Photo this time.
