Sunday 21st August. A mostly Sunny day saw 22 Cyclists (and no Phantoms !) split into 2 groups, leave via Portsmouth Rd, Giggshill green, Weston Green, Esher, Walton on Thames, Weybridge -with 1 more joining group 2-, Brooklands Park, Byfleet & ‘Muddy lane’ (I’m pleased to say it’s not), Wisley to Pyrford Lock- group 1 took the opportunity for a Photo-, for lunch at ‘the Anchor’ (Hall & Woodhouse), then about to depart, -a small delay whilst a broken cable was attended to-, groups briefly as one, Pyrford, Walsham Gates, Ripley Green, Ockham Mill, Ockham, (with a handily closed Road), Hatchford, Cobham, Fairmile, to Claremont Gardens for Tea & Bread pudding, Esher, Hinchley wood, Long Ditton, Surbiton to finish back in Kingston.
