A rather dull cloudy Morning, after 2 late cancellations, 12 Cyclists left via Surbiton, Long Ditton- joined by 1 more-, Hinchley wood, Esher- joined by 1 more (14)-, Fairmile, Cobham, Hatchford, Ockham, Ripley, to Send Marsh for lunch at the Saddlers Arm (an old favourite, that we haven’t stopped at in some while),-with a sunnier afternoon & a slight tailwind-, Newark, Pyrford, a short bit of Wey navigation path, Byfleet, Brooklands Park (Photo), Weybridge, Walton, to Hersham for refreshments at Coffee in the Park, Coronation Rec, Esher, Weston Green, – with a delivery Van blocking our way briefly-, Giggshill Green, Portsmouth Rd, to finish back in Kingston.
