Sunday 24th May, It seems like me the Weather gods, didn’t realise this is a Bank Holiday, as a gorgeous Sunny day, although maybe too hot for some, after 4 late cancellations, 1 no show for group 2 & 1 late booking, 17 Cyclists split into 2 groups, left via the Beeline, Raynes park, South Wimbledon, the Wandle trail, Earlsfield, Wandsworth Common, Clapham Common, Stockwell (Photo group 1), Vauxhall, Vauxhall Bridge, to Piimlico for lunch at the White Swan (McMullens), a very busy Westminster, Cycleway 3 (C3), Southwark Bridge, C7, C14, C10, Burgess Park (Photo group 2), Loughborough, a busy Brockwell Park, Tulse Hill, Streatham Hill, to Tooting Bec Common for very welcome refreshments at the San Remo Cafe,- now just 1 group- Tooting, – with a Police incident closing our intended path (dotted Red line on Map)-, Mitcham, Morden Hall Park, Morden, Morden Park, Lower Morden, Motspur park, to finish back in New Malden. Midweek ride to Pimlico

Wednesday 17th September. With just a few drops of drizzle, after 1 late cancellation, & 1 unexpected guest, – including 1 person who forgot the starting point,- 16 Cyclists leave on the Beeline, Raynes park, Wimbledon Chase, South Wimbledon, Wandle Trail- with a minor Gear change issue, soon fixed-, Earlsfield, Wandsworth Common, Clapham Common, Stockwell, Vauxhall, to Pimlico for lunch at the White Swan (McMullens), Westminster- thankfully before the ‘anti Trump protest march’-, Victoria Embankment (C3), Southwark Bridge (C7), also C14 & C10, Burgess Park (Photo), Loughborough, Brixton, Brockwell Park, Tulse Hill, Streatham Hill, to Tooting Bec Common for Tea & refreshments, Tooting, Colliers wood, Morden Hall Park, Merton park, Wimbledon Chase, Raynes park, to finish back in New Malden. Sunday 4th June. A mostly bright day saw 20 Cyclists leave via Lower Marsh, Berrylands, New Malden, Motspur park, Bushy Meads, Merton park, South Wimbledon, Colliers Wood, Tooting, Tooting Bec Common, Streatham Hill, Tulse Hill, Brockwell Park, to West Dulwich for lunch at ‘the Alleyns Head’ (where for some unexplained reason, no food could be served outdoors, so those wanting ‘Pub Grub’ ate indoors), then Dulwich Park, Greendale, Camberwell Grove, Peckham, Surrey Canal path, Burgess Park, Camberwell, Stockwell, to Clapham Common for Tea & BP, then shortly after leaving the Common, a momentary lapse in concentration by the leader led to a grazed Elbow, ;-( Wandsworth Common, Earlsfield, Wimbledon Park, Wimbledon Village, Copse Hill, Malden Golf course, Mount Pleasant, Norbiton to Kingston. Total 34 Miles, thanks to Bob & Mike for Back-marking duties, and others for corner marking, thanks to John for the Bread Pudding.
