Sunday 11th October, A mostly Bright Sunny day, after 2 late cancellations & 1 no show- forgot it was a 10am start, not 10.30-, 20 Cyclists split into 2 groups, left via Skerne Rd, Latchmere, Ham gate Richmond Park, Sheen gate, Mortlake, Chiswick Bridge, Grove park, Chiswick Green, South Acton, West Acton, Park Royal- alas a visit from the ‘P fairy’ for group 2, swiftly repaired-, Stonebridge, Wembley, Preston Park, Kenton, Kenton Rec, Belmont, to Harrow for lunch at the Duck in the Pond (Ember inns), alas the Pub had cancelled 1 of our tables, but with a little bit of give & take on the main table, everyone who wanted food got fed, a long climb to Harrow Weald (Photo’s), Hatch end, Headstone Manor Rec, West Harrow, South Harrow, Northolt, Northala Fields, Southall- including the extended Cycle path on Lady Margaret Rd 👍-, Norwood Green, to Osterley Park for refreshments at a very busy Stables Cafe, Osterley, Hounslow, Whitton, Twickenham, Strawberry hill, Teddington, Hampton Wick, Kingston Bridge, to finish back in Kingston.
