Wednesday 27th April,  a very chilly Evening still saw 12, no wait 13 Cyclists leave the market place, to Skerne Rd, Lower Ham, Aerospace estate, Ham, Ham gate of Richmond park, Ham cross, then a bright flash, was that li…, yes lightning then thunder, more of the same, still our leader ploughed on, turning towards White lodge, slight bit of drizzle, with sn…, no sleet, but a moment later a full blown blizzard, sheltering under a tree in a thunder storm, not recommended, so lets retreat to Ham for refreshments at ‘the New Inn’, then with light but cold drizzle, via the Tudor estate, to Kingston. Total 10 Miles, 2 new faces.

Evening ride to Twickenham

Wednesday 12th August. A bright evening saw a Bakers dozen (13 ) Cyclists leave via Skerne Rd, Lower Ham rd, Thames Towpath, Aerospace estate, Ham, Ham House, more Towpath to  Richmond bridge, Ducks walk, St Margerets to Twickenham for refreshments at ‘the Sussex arms’, then Strawberry hill, Teddington, Hampton wick, Kingston bridge. Total 11 Miles, 4 new faces.

Evening ride to Ewell

A dry bright evening saw 11 Cyclists leave via lower marsh, Berrylands, New Malden, Malden manor, Stoneliegh, Nonsuch park, East Ewell, Ewell village for refreshments at the Wheatsheaf, the West Ewell, hogsmill path, Tolworth, where a puncture sufferer needed assistance from the leader, so the leaders baton passed to John W, back to Kingston. Total 14 Miles, 1 new face.

Evening Ride to Claygate

Wednesday 20th May.

A bright evening with a chilly breeze, saw 4 cyclists leave via Kingston bridge, tow-path including a midgefest to Hampton court, East Molesey, Esher, Littleworth Common to Claygate, for refreshments at ‘the Griffin’, then Red lane, Woodstock Lane subway, Long Ditton, Surbiton and Kingston. Total 13 Miles.
