Sunday 26th July. A rather grey start, but mostly sunny day, with a bit of Headwind in the morning, after 2 late cancellations, but 2 late bookings, 14 Cyclists left via Kingston Bridge, Hampton Wick, Teddington, Strawberry hill, Twickenham, Mogden, Isleworth, Osterley, Osterley Park, Norwood Green, North Hyde, Southall, part of the Grand Union Canal path, Hayes, Harlington, Sipson, to Harmondsworth, for lunch at the always friendly Crown, with an added bonus of Morris dancers performing nearby, also paying a visit to the Great Barn, then Harmondsworth Moor- with a new not so Cycle friendly entry gate-, Poyle- including meeting a small Posse of ‘Sou’westers’ (Cycling UK)-, now with a welcome Tailwind, Stanwell Moor, Stanwell, Bedfont, Feltham, Hanworth, Hampton, to Bushy Park (Photo), for refreshments at the Pheasantry, Hampton Wick, Kingston Bridge to finish back in Kingston.
